are not really that musically inclined
so we were like counting down to the number of songs they were playing and stuff,

went for buffet at holiday inn hotel at orchard,
i felt the food was passable, but dad and janan didn't like it.

it can be just a simple 30 min conversation
with a friend that you haven't saw in a month.
enough to make me feel happy and warm for the whole day,
just to know that i still play a significant part in her life. :D
despite people putting me down,
like comments from people whom i feel dont really understand,
i believe as long you are true to yourself and others,
it doesn't matter what other people really think.
because what is the most important is having people
who really tries their best to understand you
and accept you for who you are even your shortcomings,
in your life. and with that,
you treat them wholeheartedly,
and dont try to act like you are perfect,
because one day they will eventually know your flaws,
and who knows, perhaps they will leave you, because it is unacceptable to them.

alot of things have been going through lately,
and i am learning to keep things inside me

but i am really happy to see people saying
that they kinda miss me not being in school,

2009 is coming to a close,
should i be filled with relief?
or be fearful of what is to come?

to say the truth, 2009 for me
was a horrible year,
probably the worst ever.
plagued with misfortunes and problems,
i constantly wonder if i will ever make it to the end of year.
but i did, and i am proud of it. :D
2009 was different, yet it stayed the same in some aspects.

i entered a whole new school,
meet new people who some of them were pretty nice.
some others were unpredictable and scheming,
and some just left me feeling uncomfortable around them.
well, dont forget the form teacher from hell
who ruined the ending moment for J1.

old friends, some of them were still their old self,
while others morphed into strangers.
it made me realised no matter how much i missed the past,
it was all over and it was time to move on,
get on with life and quit whinning.
i am glad that one thing i did right this year,
was to constantly keep in contact with
friends from the past. :D
they were the ones that put me in a temporary
delusion that things were still the same,
and it really made me feel much better.

as for myself,
i do not deny that i changed,
but there are still things that still remain the same.
like how i automatically pick up the phone to call gina
when i am feeling unhappy.
how my heart skip a beat when i listen/see evan yo!
how i over-react at times.
how i am really thankful having certain people in my life.
how i like to fly into a rage when i am really pissed off.
and etc etc.
but this year, i feel that i really grew alot stronger mentally.
and lastly i really hope next year will be a hell lot better than this year,
because this year really sucked big time.

worked in singapore expo for the IT show!
worked for the brand acer,
at first, i was rather skeptical about the brand.

but in the end it was kinda fun,
because we made new friends and all the stupid things we do

a 3 day 2 night camp in school!
seriously omg! it wasnt really very fantastic,

while the doctor was injecting the anesthesia through the tube.
and WHAMP! i fell asleep unknowingly,
by the time i woke up,
the operation was done already. D:
anyway it was as bad as i thought lah,
the worst after effect was just the swollen face/mouth. D:

sometimes looking back at my own life,
it amazes me how much it has changed.

woke up early for volleyball yesterday,
it was a rather fruitful training and people there are really nice. (:
although the journey home was long and arduous,
and the whole train was bombarded with china kids,
but the fact that i have learn something that morning made it worthwhile.

upon reaching, with my aching thighs and feet,
the sensible thing to do was to take a bus and reach home asap.
however, something in me impel me to take a different route.
and so with that i began to walk my way home.
the familiar route which we used to walk home together
when we were in secondary school,
however it has been ages since the last one.
as i set out, memories just came rushing back in,
like water gushing out from a tap.

i remembered,
i would insist on taking the bus home
while you would try to convince me that the walk home is faster.
most of times, i would just succumb to what you wanted.
while walking past the carpark,
i always like walking in the middle of the road,
and you would always go like "your road huh?"
then i would simply reply "yeah it was my grandfather's! you didn't know?"
and when we reached the stairs and the ramp,
you always said we should take the stairs because it is faster,
and i wanted to ramp because it looked more fun.
then you will always go like "so retarded, like small kid like that".
when we walked past the pond where loads of people fished,
i ALWAYS would say, "you know, i rather die than fall into the pond."
when we reached the bridge, you would always repeat the story
of you being scared of it when you were little.
laughter and endless conversations were used to describe
these journeys back home.

at that times, everything seemed so happy and taken for granted for.
it is only now when we looked back,
and realised how precious these memories are.
to say the truth, i actually kind of look forward to this back then,
when there was three of us, and not only two.

i never knew the real reason why he left,
perhaps he couldn't stand my attitude anymore.
although i am really over you but the feeling of nostalgia comes back once in a while.
i remembered the CHAI CHEE PORRIDGE GANG days.
the days where we talked on msn till 3am,
talked on the phone, leaving most parts of the conversation
doing our own stuff and even the stupid rants.
it is not that i want him to be my friend again,
it is just that i missed those days where i really felt that
having friends like this was all that it matters,
and spending time with you all at that time,
was really really the happiest time of my life,
and it will always be.

these two days has pretty been a happy one! :D
on sunday, vollyballing with the pros was really (Y),

dad talked to me today,
and i guess the topic we talked about is pretty predictable. :/
promotional results and promotion.
i told him that there was a high possiblity that i would retain,
and the next moment i kinda of regret telling him.
disappointment was written all over his face.
he went on to say that his hopes were pinned on me,
and asked if i gave in my best.
i thought about it, and i told him i felt that i didn't give in my best.

seriously, no one will ever be able to give in his/her best,
because we will never know how fullest potential.
i felt that i didnt give in my best, because i could have slept at a later timing,
and used that time to study more.
i shouldn't have crammed my biology,
should have practise even more for maths and chemistry.
and i shouldnt be overconfident for history.
so i guess, i deserved it in a certain way.

dad asked me what are my plans,
and i said that i planned to study during the holidays,
no matter whether i got promoted anot.
and frankly, i feel really gulity for making him worry and disappointed like that,
i meant he got out from the hospital. :/
moreover i highly doubt that mr wong will allow me to promote either,
because i think he always felt i was a weak student
and needed more practice. :/
i feel that in the end, i seemed to be the one to convince dad
that it was okay to retain and everything.

since the secondary school days,
it has dawned on me that YOU DONT REAP WHAT YOU SOW.
and despite all the hard work you have put in,
there might be a chance of not doing well.
well, this has been more prominient in the JC life,
where only the work smart and hard people
survive the mind-blowing exams and tests.

frankly i feel that there is a very high chance of me retaining,
but i don't feel exceptionally upset over it,
because if retaining, allow me to produce better results at the end, why not?
however, other factors like being in the same class as your junior,
still makes me feel kinda depressed. D:

when you meet a point of life that is not going your way,
often we have two choices: give up or look for an alternative.
in the past, i often sink into depression and let go of the things
that are causing whatever that was happening then.
recently, i realised why not make good use with what you have!
volleyball sch team started their first training yesterday,
and i feel like kinda like >.< but well it is a fact you can't change,
and so i decided that i probably join a outside vball club,
instead of whinning and whinning that i am not in team
and i suck in sports blah blah blah.
I FEEL SO PROUD OF MYSELF for thinking this way! :D

it is really scary to face up to reality sometimes.
to force yourself to believe that
people around you are not what you expect them to be.
for once, flaring up seems so good.
i guess emotions have been bottled up for too long
and i am willing to pay the price,
even it means losing you both.

friends, probably the most important people in my life.
the most valuable possession after family, in my opinion.
without them, i wouldn't be who am i right now.
seriously, i don't expect every of my friends to know me inside out like gina,

or even make me feel important.
but the least i feel is to be a little sensitive to my feelings.
its okay to be left out, pushed around to other people,
because in a group of three, there will be a odd one out.

but the clash in the thinking and way words are put,

everyday i go school, thinking how to make
the front i put up in front of you to be more perfect.
and then it just gets harder and harder.
perhaps we were never meant to be,
and it would be probably a good idea for me to step out of the picture of awhile.
i am sure both of you will manage on your own.
an insignificant figure like me, wont have much of an impact anyway.

and lastly, i want to say THANKS yingzhi
for chasing after me on friday after school,
that really meant alot and it made me feel
at least someone bothers about me
and understands me to a certain extent. :)

just like i wasn't suppose to be in volleyball,
but i went against fate and try to change it.
i wanted to show everyone and myself
i can be good at sports too.
but i guess we can't defy our fate.
actually i have rehersed the scene a million times in my head
and told myself to not have expectations,
but the amount of pain did not lessen.
i can't even tell my friend that
i was happy for her, because i didnt feel that way in me.
it disgust me that i was such a person.

just when i feel that i like the sport volleyball,
like the people in volleyball,
made people think that i can play a sport,
instead of only studying,
everything was taken away from me.

and to the person i care most in the entire world,
i dont know what has happened.
your aloof attitude have caused me to lose faith.
i dont know why you can treat other people so nicely,
and treat me the exact opposite way.
the change in you, made you a complete stranger to me.
i tried to make things work, but things seemed to be worse.
i miss you, but i was refering to the guy
that was my bestest friend in sec4.

this time,
i lost.
completely.

thus ruining my own life with my bare hands.

been really busy recently,

one thing i realised today about JC people,
is that they can be really complicated and unpredictable.
even to those whom i thought were friends.

i just know that in a week, things have changed alot.

and some who will never be tired of hearing me
grumbling about the same things over and over again.
and so, friends are not the top of the list anymore,
piorities are re-shuffled and i felt that i was wrong about some people.
if i had such a mindset on monday night,
will things still be different?
maybe.

it is funny how life makes you go round and round,
and you eventually end up at where you started.
it has been a long time since i laughed like i used to,

i seriously hate sorethroats. D:
especially the one that make me lose my voice totally.
today was kinda sad,
because i couldnt talk at all.
it was like you open your mouth,
but no sound come out of it.
then it was very hard trying to talk to people and everything. D:
and i talked less than 50 sentences today,
most of them were just repeating what i was trying to say,
because people couldnt hear me. D:

but i have nice friends who made me feel so awwww,
and they somewhat brighten up my day,
althought it was freezing today hahaha.

really need to get better soon argh.
i want my voice backkkkkkkkk. D:

sometimes i wonder how arduous would the road of life be.

today started off with a rough patch.
school was rather okay,
except it seems that everyone
dont seem to be in the best of moods either.
had cca after school,
and i dont really dare to comment much about it.
just that i felt everything seemed to be just a facade.
but training ended kinda early
so i rushed home to study biology. :D
really hope that i will do well for tomorrow's test.

and guess what, i am not able to buy the pretty shirt i saw online.
adds on to the D: D: D:,
but i guess it cant be helped. :/
somehow i really want to talk to someone
who would understand what i am feeling now.

it seems that now,
i dont even have the right to be angry or pissed off.

i wished that i can on a air balloon like this right now,
and go to a far far away land where things like santa and princesses exist.

kinda of moody day,
but i was really trying damn hard to not let my moodiness
affect the day and everyone's mood.

and heyya is just damn damn nice and i love her loads,
just like how much she love me :D
i just feel so lucky to have such ugly, retarded and bitchy friends hahahaha.

anyway had dinner today with SDML,
which was quite okay lah. hahaha.

and i suddenly feel like talking and going out
with my old besties like shifu, gina, jane and zhixin....
just a werid werid feeling hahhahaha.
